Advanced Dental Implant Placement and Restoration
Port Orange Dentist is a leader in dental implant placement and restoration. Our state-of-the-art practice is equipped with advanced technology, allowing our dentists to strategically and meticulously design and complete your procedure.
Our cone beam CT scanner (CBCT) gives Drs. Harvinder and Amandeep Chadda a complete three-dimensional image of your bite and helps our dentist determine the best placement sites to achieve optimal results.
When it’s time to add the restoration, we obtain digital impressions to get the finest detail possible. This attention to detail ensures your restoration fits comfortably, functions properly, and looks natural.
Tooth Replacement Options
Whether you are missing one tooth or a full arch of teeth, we have the replacement solution that will address your concerns and goals. Our Dental implant-supported restorations include the following:
Implant-Supported Crowns – to permanently replace a single tooth with the support of one implant post
Implant-Supported Bridges – to permanently replace a row of teeth with a minimum of at least two implant posts
Implant-Supported Dentures – to permanently replace full arches of teeth with at least four to six implant posts.
Implant Retained Overdentures – to replace full arches of teeth with the additional support of at least two implant posts – this option is removable by the patient while the other implant-supported restorations are not.
The Benefits of Dental Implants
When one or more teeth are lost, it is not only the visible portion that is important to replace. The root plays a vital role in the health of your jaw by stimulating the bone and preventing resorption or loss of bone mass. When tooth roots are replaced with dental implants, the biocompatible implant post fuses with the jawbone and provides the same stimulus as a natural tooth root.
The more teeth that are missing, the more quickly bone loss can occur. The prematurely aged appearance commonly associated with traditional denture-wearers is a direct result of bone loss due to absent teeth.
